Who We Are

Fire Your Coach is a training-memory product for experienced lifters, made up of a web app and a native iOS app. It is operated by David Fernandez as an individual ("we," "us," "Fire Your Coach"). You can reach us any time at hi@fireyourcoach.co.

Acceptance

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using Fire Your Coach, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use Fire Your Coach on behalf of someone else, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for them.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use Fire Your Coach. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity that happens under it. Sign-in is passwordless, so protect access to the email address and the Apple or Google account you use to sign in.

Health And Exercise Disclaimer

Fire Your Coach is a training tool, not a medical service. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and nothing in the app or in a generated plan is a substitute for the judgment of a qualified physician or healthcare provider.

Strength training and conditioning carry inherent risk of injury. Consult a doctor before starting or changing a training program, especially if you have a medical condition, an injury, or other risk factors. You are responsible for choosing loads, exercises, and intensities that are appropriate for you, for using proper form and equipment, and for stopping when something feels wrong. You train at your own risk.

Plans And AI-Generated Content

Some features generate or adapt training plans using AI model providers. These plans are informational suggestions based on the inputs you give, such as goals, experience, equipment, and constraints. They can be incomplete, imperfect, or unsuitable for your situation, and they are not personal coaching or medical guidance.

Always apply your own judgment. Adjust, swap, or skip anything that is not right for your body, your equipment, or your recovery on a given day. You decide what you actually do in the gym.

Acceptable Use

Use Fire Your Coach for your own training. Do not:

• Break the law or infringe anyone's rights while using the service.
• Probe, scrape, overload, or interfere with the service, its API, or its infrastructure.
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that are not yours.
• Reverse engineer, resell, or republish the service except as the law allows.
• Upload content you do not have the right to use, or that is unlawful or harmful.

Your Content And Data

Your training data is yours: your plans, workouts, sets, readiness, notes, imports, and feedback. By using the service, you grant us the permission needed to store, process, and display that data so the product can run for you, including sending relevant context to model providers when you ask for plan generation or adaptation.

How we handle, share, and retain your data is described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use your training log for third-party advertising.

Third-Party Services

Fire Your Coach relies on services such as Apple and Google sign-in, hosting and database providers, email delivery, and AI model providers. Apple and Google sign-in, and distribution through the App Store and TestFlight, are governed by their own terms — see the Apple Media Services Terms and the Google Terms of Service. Your use of those services is between you and them.

Intellectual Property

The Fire Your Coach name, brand, software, design, and content (excluding your own training data) belong to us and are protected by intellectual-property law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own training while these terms are in effect. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.

Alpha Status And Availability

Fire Your Coach is early-stage software, currently free and offered through alpha and TestFlight access. Features can change, pause, or be removed, and the service may be unavailable at times. While we work to keep your training data safe and intact, early software can lose or interrupt data, so do not rely on it as your only record of anything important to you.

Disclaimers And Limitation Of Liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability, to the fullest extent the law allows.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fire Your Coach and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or personal injury arising from your use of the service or your training. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Termination

You can stop using Fire Your Coach at any time and delete your account from the iOS app under Settings, or by contacting hi@fireyourcoach.co. We may suspend or end access if these terms are violated or if we need to protect the service or its users. Sections that should reasonably survive termination, such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability, continue to apply.

Changes To These Terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Fire Your Coach after an update means you accept the revised terms. If a change is significant, we will make a reasonable effort to flag it.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where the operator of Fire Your Coach resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and you agree to the courts of that place for any dispute, to the extent permitted by applicable law. The specific governing jurisdiction will be finalized before the public App Store release; if you need it confirmed for your situation, contact support.
